Burma is well known as Myanmar. This is the largest country in the southeast with the greatest number of modern and ancient Buddhists temples. Population is mostly concentrated near the Irrawaddy river. Unbelievable greenery and wild life are surrounded by breathless landscapes, high mountains in the north (Hkakabo Razi 5882 ms) lowlands in the south.
Burmese temples were constructed between the 800 and 1100 A.C. anc made up with gold and precious stones. That is why Burma is also known as “land of thousand pagodas” or “golden country”.
