The event will take place a few kilometres from the Versilia, a place that evokes great charm and glamour and with some of the most renowned nightclubs and restaurant of Italy. To name a few: Briatore’s Twiga, the legendary and ageless Capannina, the very well known Bussola, Seven Apple favourite haunt of footballers and models, as well as restaurants Lorenzo and the Oca Bianca. These and other nightclubs enliven the evenings in Versilia and draw the jet set life.
Indeed it is not difficult to meet on the streets of Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Marina di Massa personalities such as Moratti the owner of Inter football club, famous tenor Andrea Bocelli, former tennis player Adriano Panatta, the lovely Italian pop singer Mina, World Cup-winning football manager Marcello Lippi, footballer Cristiano Zanetti, World cup-winning goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with his beautiful wife, Czech model Alena Seredova, the charming volleyball player Maurizia Cacciatori and showgirl Hoara Borselli.
A weekend in the Versilia is always worthwhile, due to its discos, its restaurants, its nightlife and the proximity to charming and ageless art cities such as Lucca, enclosed in Renaissance-era walls, with a pedestrian centre and its 103 churches, and Pisa, with one of the most beautiful squares in the world with its monumental tower, cathedral and baptistery.
A few minutes from the exhibition centre is the archaeological site of Luni, where unknown to most people are incredible Roman ruins and an amphitheatre, which is a miniature replica of Rome’s Colosseum.
20 kilometres south of the centre is Pietrasanta a unique gem where one can meet artists from all over the world as well as see Andrea Bocelli and other stars walking around. Not to mention Florence, Pistoia with its zoo and the Park of Pinocchio at Collodi, near the exhibition.
